I spent 2 years in the military, and over 20 years in the ministry as a full time pastor and missionary in Taiwan. In 1998 I started selling health insurance as a captive agent and then in 2005 founded Iowa Insurance Store as an independant insurance agent selling property & casualty, health and life insurance. I am now in the process of handing the Iowa Insurance Store agency down to my son Jon and I am now focusing more on Medicare.
I love working with people and helping them to understand insurance. I enjoy spending time with my family & grand kids, playing games, working outside, traveling, and being involved in my local church.

I really enjoy working with James and assisting him to help him to help you find the right policies for you. I take pride in being a detail oriented person with a positive approach. I answer phones, make appointments, and help you and James in any way I can.
When not at work, I enjoy my time at home with my family. I like to go to movies, music events and local farmers markets.

I have worked with James to assist him with his computer needs for over 15 years. I have worked in IT for over 4 decades. I strive to educate people to handle their own computer needs while working to simplify work processes and improve efficiencies.
I now work part time and provice support to clients as needed. I enjoy living a minimalist lifestyle and traveling south each winter with my two four legged kids.
In Loving Memory of Ginny Taylor
Ginny joined James part-time to help in 2005 at Iowa Insurance Store and eventually came on full-time as the office manager & CSR. She had a huge heart for people and it always showed in the customer service. Ginny enjoyed spending her down time with her family, sewing, and cheering on the Hawkeyes. Ginny passed suddenly in 2021 and is forever in the hearts of both Iowa Insurance Store and Iowa Medicare Store.
